Approximately 4-6 weeks. After 3 weeks of the application in the system, we contact the Indiana Secretary of State for a status update of the application.
Do I have to be an Indiana State Resident?
You do not need to be an Indiana State Resident. Having a physical business address at the Indiana Wholesale Offices facility complies with the Indiana Secretary of State physical requirements.
What are the requirements to get my wholesale car dealer's license?
All individuals must have a valid Social Security Number and a valid Government Issued Identification.
What is expected of me to get my wholesale license?
After contacting us, we will e-mail you an Application Packet so that we can process your License in a timely manner. You will need to fill out the application, contact the provided Insurance agents to secure your SR-23 & Bond and you will have to make a trip to your local Social Security Office for a NUMI report. While you are performing these tasks, we will be securing your FEIN, State ID, Business License, Zoning Permits and properly completing your Wholesale Dealers License Application.
Is this my business or am I a partner in a dealership?
We will be setting up YOUR business as a Sole Proprietor or Corporation. It is up to you. We will have no vested interest in YOUR business venture.
